A quick announcement about one of Switchback's very own... Becca Klaver, a founding editor, began her internship at the Poetry Foundation this week, and we are thrilled and wishing her all the best! Also, Mónica it seems has been very busy as well... she's getting ready to leave for the MacDowell Colony in July. We've all been very busy trying to get the word out about the Gatewood Prize, and it seems to be working, which is fabulous! We're also planning readings for Mónica in Chicago in February to celebrate her book release... and in New York and in Milwaukee and elsewhere. Things are off to a very good start... we're so proud of both these girls!
