Launch Party for Jill Khoury's earthwork!

We're excited to be hosting our first online book launch event in just a few weeks! Join us on Saturday, March 23rd at 7:00pm Eastern for the launch of Jill Khoury's earthwork, our latest Switchback title and winner of the 2023 Gatewood Prize, selected by Cynthia Arrieu-King.

Arrieu-King writes,

In earthwork, Jill Khoury plunges us into the heartbreak of caregiving, maternal relationships, disability and abusive dismissal. Khoury's Plathesque battle tones, brilliant formalism, and attention to a white hot star of pain show the speaker taken apart and reassembled in multiple gazes including her/their own. This book's theme of paradoxical seeing and unseeing within family, their ferocious recollection will, in turn, unshackle the reader.

The launch event will feature Khoury reading from earthwork, alongside guest readers Ava Cipri and Joy Katz. In addition, we'll be offering free, signed copies of earthwork as a giveaway! Please mark your calendars and join us to celebrate this wonderful new collection.
