SWITCHBACK BOOKS AND DANCING GIRL PRESS PRESENT: THE RELEASE OF DANIELA OLSZEWSKA'S THE PARTIAL AUTOBIOGRAPY OF JANE DOE AND MELISSA SEVERIN’S BRUTE FACT CHICAGO, February 5, 2008 -- A poetry reading and release party for Chicago-based poets Daniela Olszewska and Melissa Severin will be hosted by Dancing Girl Press and Switchback Books on Feb. 13 at 8 p.m. at the California Clipper. Daniela Olszewksa’s chapbook, “The Partial Autobiography of Jane Doe” and Melissa Severin’s chapbook, “Brute Fact,” both from the Dancing Girl Press imprint, will be available for purchase at the event along with other publications from both Switchback Books and Dancing Girl Press. Daniela Olszewska is an editorial assistant and intern coordinator for Switchback Books. Daniela holds a BA in Poetry from Columbia College Chicago. Her work has appeared in recent issues of Wicked Alice, La Petite Zine, MiPOesias, Cranky, and Pebble Lake Review. Melissa Severin is the managing editor at Switchback Books. Melissa lives in Chicago and currently works in the search engine marketing industry. She earned her MFA in Poetry from New England College, and her poems have appeared in MoonLit, Wicked Alice, The Alembic, and The Cultural Society.
